A language is a vital tool for communication. It is not only a means of communicating thoughts and ideas, but it builds friendships, economic relationships, and cultural ties. We can communicate only with signs without language. Moreover, a language distinguishes the differences and also celebrates the uniqueness of cultures in a country or a region or a community. Language shapes the way people perceive the world and it also helps to define the culture of any society. Any language is a gift the knowledge of more than one language makes a man more efficient and skillful in many ways. It opens our minds and guides us into a magical world of fancies and dreams. To certain, the proper learning of language helps us to develop ourselves, our minds, and also our personality. Human language is unique because it is a symbolic communication system that is learned instead of biologically inherited for some people.

Kapil Sharma is an Indian stand up comedian, television presenter, actor, and producer mainly known for his show “The Kapil Sharma Show”. He is from a humble family of Amritsar, Punjab. His father Jeetendra Kumar Punj was a head constable in Punjab police who passed away in the year 2004 due to cancer while his mother is a homemaker.

Kapil Sharma first tasted success when he won the comedy reality show ” The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2007. From then, he did a lot of shows and went on to his own production house, which is now one of the most loved television shows among many others. Kapil has gained all the fame and love with his talent, hard work, and charm.

He was in Hindi Medium school and college, so his English was not fluent. He has been very vocal about the fact that his English was not smooth. He candidly makes fun of his bad English on his show. He picked up English as he travels in and around the world nowadays. He proved to the people that English is not necessary for one’s success.

Language is not the only factor that leads a person to his/her success. It is a part of a massive mix of factors. Language is used for communication. The ability to communicate and interact leads to success and not the language. You can use any language you want to communicate. It’s completely your choice. Never make or take any decisions as pe convention or against your own will.

Many other eminent personalities didn’t know English at the start of their career, yet they are successful and proud of what they know and have accomplished such as Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Dev, Kangana Ranaut, Harbhajan Singh, Nawazudddin Siddiqui, PM Narendra Modi and many others. People learn English as it is the most commonly spoken language in the whole world. But, it is not necessary. Nowadays, Google has translators which help a person to communicate with people who speak a different language. English is surely a common language but not a mandatory one.

Language is a road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.”- Rita Mae Brown
