The world created fences
And asked us to choose sides
And no one ever said why.?
It was too much thinking
And we would have to wait
Too long for an answer.
So everyone just headed
Where they saw promises
And those that couldn’t decide
Followed people they trusted.
Why must I be part of your fight
Always caught in the crossfire,
Why must I be on either
one of the sides
Of this fence that the world
asked me to climb.
The fence that I cut myself on
Trying to tear down,
While the world watched me
Like I have lost my mind.
Why would I choose
one side of the fence
When I can Fly above it.
